But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3 : 18 (NASB)
We ought to become more like God. We already have the life and nature of God, but just like a child grows and learns from his immediate family because he keeps seeing them, we also need to keep “looking at God”.
It’s what you constantly see you begin to change into so it’s important to have the right picture of God. Where you are now is an indication of the glory of God you have seen. You need to change your vision and begin to see the glory of God. The glory of God refers to – all of His attributes, qualities and beauty.
This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.
John 4 : 17 (NIV)
We should change in our love walk, the more we contemplate his love the more we manifest his love. As we continue to look into the word become more like him. We should function like God. If you keep meditating on the power of God, soon you’ll begin to manifest that power in your life.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
1 Peter 2 : 9 (Amplified)
If there’s any area of your life where you feel you’re experiencing some frustration or darkness, then you need to “behold” consistently what the word of God says about that area. Shine it in that area and declare it about yourself or situation; the light from the word will dispel the darkness in that area.
